River Country Bird Club

| The River Country Nature Center offers bird
related activities through the River Country
Bird Club. Persons who are members of the
Nature Center are invited to join all Bird Club
activities. Activities include:
- Informational programs about birds
- Field trips
- Learning about bird organizations
- Learning how to locate and use sources
of bird information
- Gaining experience with optical
equipment
- Becoming acquainted with other persons
interested in birds
- Attracting and providing for birds
- Participating in Citizen Science related
to birds
- Sharing information about birding
locations
The River Country Nature Center has a variety
of field guides for use by participants on field
trips. Optical equipment is also available for
use on field trips for persons needing
binoculars.
The River Country Nature Center provides still
life observations of numerous birds. |
